January Delivery Day

I hope you all have enjoyed a lovely holiday season and break from all the chaos!
My delivery day for January came a couple days early, I'm sure because of the holiday.  Here are some of the essentials I got this month.

Clif Kid Z Bar Variety Pack, Chocolate Chip, Choc Brownie, Iced Oatmeal Cookie, 24 Count  - These are great snacks to take for the kids when we are out and about.  All 3 of them (who don't care to eat a traditional granola bar) will beg for them.  Also, I have no idea why, but these were only $8.42 for me.  There isn't a coupon, my subscribe and save price is $14.37 (which is more than Costco by about $2.50) but when they ship they only charge me $8.42 (about $2 less than Costco) - let me know what you guys see.

Libby's Organic Whole Kernel Sweet Corn, 15-Ounce Cans (Pack of 12) $14.03 for a 12 pack - these are more expensive because they are organic.  Costco doesn't sell an organic version and their regular ones are $8.00 for a 12 pack.  I'm giving these a try, they have a lot of organic canned goods at Costco and they have announced their new Pantry program.  I'm excited to see what that entails.  Don't worry, I will post all about it as soon as it is up.  I'm sure it will tag along with subscribe & save nicely.

LARABAR Fruit & Nut Food Bar, Apple Pie, Gluten Free1.6 oz Bars (Pack of 16) - these are a great item for me to snack on when I'm out and about.  Costco sells a variety pack, which I don't prefer any of the other flavors so I get them from Amazon instead.

OxiClean Max Force Stain Remover Spray, 12 Ounce (Pack of 2)  - I love this spray cleaner, it is about $4 at Target so while this isn't a huge savings, it is nice to have it just delivered regularly so I don't have to think about it.  Sweet baby boy of mine pulls his bibs off every. single. time.  Enough said.

Food Babe would die if she knew I was eating cereal.  But my husband loves these.  3 large boxes for $7.15 total.  Corn Flakes Cereal, Original, 18-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 3)

Pantene Pro-V Smooth Shampoo 33.8 Fl Oz  - my kids were having a hard time with the Pantene that I got before since it didn't have a pump with it.  So, I'm trying this one, I think it should help.  Costco is $8.43 after tax and this is $7.19. It will go on coupon at Costco every so often, but it also goes on coupon at Amazon, usually around the same time.  I'll take the cheaper price from the get-go, thanks.

Lysol Wipes can be found in this post.

I think it is fair to say that I practice what I preach.  ;)

Coupon Expires Today

If you haven't jumped on the subscribe & save train quite yet, today is your day.  You can try it out (even just 1 thing) because you get 5% off that item, plus 25% off additional, bringing your total discount to 30% instead of the 20% if you have 5 coming in any given month.  Enter the code NEWSNS30 at checkout.  Remember to still choose the subscribe & save option and don't just add it to your cart like a normal purchase.  Here are a few high dollar items so that you get the most bang for your buck.

I love Viva, but I'm usually too cheap to buy them.  Viva Paper Towels, White, Giant Roll, 12 Rolls (Pack of 2) You can get 24 rolls of Viva right now for $19.75 if you use the code above and clip the $5.00 coupon they have on it.  For regular subscribe and save members, you can get it for $22.50.  Still a great deal for a much superior paper towel.

Land O Lakes Classics Premium Hot Cocoa Mix, Variety Pack - here's a mega variety pack of hot chocolate that you can have on hand and never get sick of the flavors.  $22.97 for regular subscribe and save.  $20.67 if you use the first time coupon on this.

Protein Powders, my personal choice is this one in the vanilla ice cream flavor.

Diapers, see my post here.

Quilted Northern Ultra Plush Bath Tissue, 48 Double Rolls - I've talked about these before.  If you get desperate, these are always something you can use.

50% of on deodorants

Amazon has a high value coupon that gives you a 35% off coupon on Degree, Dove, and Axe deodorants.  Combine that with your 15% off subscribe and save discount (20% if you signed up for Mom here) and that's a pretty sweet gig for such a necessity.  Here are some picks but see all available options here.

2 of these are only $3.14 after the coupon, and assuming you're getting 20% off.Axe AntiPerspirant Deodorant, Phoenix, Twin Pack, 5.4 Ounce

One of these will set you back $1.74.  Dove Advanced Beauty Clear Tone AntiPerspirant Deodorant, Skin Renew, 2.6 Ounce

Remember, the majority of items shipped by Amazon can be ordered by 10pm MST on the 22nd so if there's something still on your list, check Amazon.  They are dropping prices on toys like crazy right now.

Not my normal post, but I couldn't help but share.  The trampoline that we have - that's been rock solid, never moves in the wind, really sturdy and lots of fun, is on lightning deal for the next 45 minutes.  It takes down the price to $439 which is definitely cheaper than the $600 we paid a few years ago.  I know people that have had this same tramp for close to 10 years and it is still great.  Ours is only 3 years old and was certainly worth the purchase.  Back to subscribe & save.

Skywalker 14-Feet Square Trampoline and Enclosure

Winter Wonderland

The temps in my town are basically 0* every morning.  So winter is definitely well upon us.  Here are a few things you can snag on subscribe & save if you need.

Furnace Filters - my husband gets the elite versions at Home Depot for $25 and I about died when I found out.  Thankfully I got these coming for around $38 for a 2 pack.  Our heater has special needs and stopped breaking down every 6 months when we started using these.  Thanks high maintenance heater.  Filtrete Elite Allergen Reduction Filter, 2200 MPR, 16-Inch by 20-Inch by 1-Inch, 2-Pack

My hands are cracking and bleeding with this dry weather.  I rub this on like crazy.  Add that to my addiction of this for baby rashes, chapped cheeks, chapped lips, you name it.  Walmart/Babies R Us this is between $7-8.50 per tube.  These will run you just over $5 each.  Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment Diaper Rash and Dry Skin Protectant, 3 oz (Pack of 3)

There's a little holiday coming up that may bring new toys into your house.  Get stocked up on batteries if you need some.  Costco runs you $14.89 for a 40 pack, you can get these in a 20 pack for $6.22 (making them $12.44 for the equivalent) AmazonBasics AA Alkaline Batteries (Pack of 20)

AmazonBasics AAA Alkaline Batteries (Pack of 20) - these are even cheaper, a 20 pack is just over $5 on subscribe & save so 40 will be just under $11 instead of the $15 it is at Costco.

And lastly, if you need any last minute gifts, remember you get 2-day shipping for free.  They will still be putting together some great toy deals in the next week if there's something you are still hoping to find!
